After leaving the factory, they were outfitted with police markings. Before Christmas, 10 KIA Ceed vehicles and 4 KIA Sportage vehicles were distributed to police officers in Warmia and Masuria, including units in Elbląg, Ełk, Bartoszyce, Braniewo, Gołdap, Ostróda, Nowe Miasto Lubawskie, Lidzbark Warmiński, Iława, Pisz, and Kętrzyn.
The KIA Ceed patrol cars have engines with a capacity of 1482 cm3 and a power of 117.5 kW, while the KIA Sportage vehicles are equipped with engines with a capacity of 1598 cm3 and a power of 132.4 kW.
The cars were purchased using funds from the Police Headquarters and the Police Support Fund, including 200,000 Polish złoty allocated for this purpose by the Provincial Marshal's Office of Warmia and Masuria Voivodeship.
